Over the last ten years this current MBA grad student and her “non-profit sugar mama” have worked hard to support marriage equality and now they themselves have the chance to take the plunge, but they need your help. Vote here: www.lavendermagazine.com/wedding . Through Thursday, June 19 they need as many votes as possible to win this contest. Please help to spread the word to others who will support our stand for marriage equality! Thank you!

Hey everyone. I'm going to be moving to the Cities in August (from Duluth), and I need to find a place to live. I'm looking for a room in or near Bloomington with good metro access and GLBTQ-friendly roomies/landlord. If anyone lives in or knows of such a place, information would be welcome. Comment here, or email me at email@example.com
I went to see the Twin Cities Gay Men's Chorus last night...
I've had season tickets for eleven years.
This is one of the best concerts they've done!
Absolutely stunning second act!
Last concert is today, Sunday March 30 at 2:00PM
Ted Mann Concert Hall - U of M west bank

Have you been to PAtrick's Cabaret recently? get your butt over there! for only $8 you see six live performances...
This weekend I am performing on Friday and Saturday night at 8pm in the "Everything but English Cabaret" it should be fun!
i just moved to the twin cities in mid-august with my partner, and i'm trying to find a group of lgbt crafty folks to hang out with and work on projects with. i mostly cross-stitch (look at my public post gallery in my personal journal if you're curious) but i also embroider and crochet.
does anyone know about an existing public group, or would anyone be interested in starting up something? i live in st. paul but i'd definitely be willing to travel to mpls once every week or two for something like this. it's hard to make friends when you're new in town, 30, and in a long term monogamous relationship! :)
I am moving to the west coast and I have a lease on my apt that is located in Downtown mpls, adjecent from the Minneapolis Community Techincal College ( MCTC) I need someone in there by beginning of October. The rent is $719.00. There is no deposit required ( you can keep mine). Just have good rental history and credit and the place is yours. I need to be out asap. As far as bills and so forth. Electric has been like 40 a month. It's internet capable, its a nice big bear claw bath tub. It's very classic, very spacious rooms ( so much I don't have enough stuff to fill it ) the place is nice and quiet, the apartment is located on the 1st floor, easy access to laundry room which is one floor below which is nothing. Walking distance of the bars, clubs, restraunts of downtown mpls, also walking distance St.Thomas, downtown buildings, loring park, there is a bus stop outside a block down which is convient as well. Please respond back if you are interested or know someone whom might be and please have a contact e-mail and or phone number. If inquiring about pictures here is the link on aparments.com.
The apt is 780 sq. My lease started in June 2007 and end June 2008. Like I said you can keep the deposit ( $450.00) just have good rental history and so forth and the place is yours. I can be out asap.

Or at least they're claiming to
. They plan to protest the funerals of the people who died in the 35W bridge collapse. Fred Phelps is claiming that the bridge «fell by the word of God» because Minnesota has been harboring gays. Here
is a link to the Phelps press release that came the day after the collapse.
